My art festival season returns this weekend with the East Lansing Art Festival! This is my third time appearing in person, although technically it is my fourth time selected as an artist (y’know, because Pandemic).

Here We Go

This is also my first time at ELAF with my new, professional festival tent. And, it is the first multiple day event with my new tent.

Unlike other appearances past and future this year, Steph and I aren’t sharing a tent. We’ll each have our own set-up. But, we are right next to each other! Just from a set-up and tear-down aspect, this is great.

Plus, y’know, being able to watch each other’s booth for bathroom or ice cream sandwich breaks.

I’ll be in booth 41, which is right by the Marriott Hotel on Albert Ave. Here’s a bigger version of the festival map.

Saturday hours: 10 AM – 6 PM
Sunday hours: 10 AM – 5 PM

And like I said, Steph will be right next to me (booth 40).

What Am I Selling at the East Lansing Art Festival?

I am bringing A LOT of original art this year. This is easily the most art I’ve ever brought to ELAF, or any art festival. This doesn’t just include my matted originals, but a selection of framed pieces, both old and new.

Currently, I don’t have framed pieces listed in my shop, so this is a rare opportunity to see and buy them.

I’m bringing a variety of pieces, which includes, but is not limited to, original art from the following collections:

Here’s one of my new framed pieces, Three Hour Tour, which is part of my Three Panels collection.

I also decided to add to my “small” matted art bin (3.5″ x 5″) for the weekend. This led to me experimenting a bit. Check out this piece I did with ballpoint pen, watercolor, and a little bit of gouache.

Come Out Saturday and Sunday!

I know being in a crowd is probably the last thing a lot of you want to do right now. Trust me, I get it. I’ll be masked up (and I’m vaccinated). There is hand sanitizer in my booth as well.

If you are comfortable doing so, please come out to the East Lansing Art Festival. I would love to see all of you.
