Foxes & Boxes Volume One: No Refunds!

In April of 2019, I self-published the first Foxes & Boxes collection, Volume One: No Refunds! It is a full-color collection, and collects the first 98 pages of my on-going, all-ages fantasy humor comic. I self-published Foxes & Boxes Volume One: No Refunds! via Amazon’s Kindle Direct Publishing.

So yes, you can buy the book on Amazon. I also have signed copies available via my Etsy shop, when I have copies on hand.

A big thanks to my comic buddies Jay Jacot (Seeress), Ryan Claytor (Coin-Op Carnival), and Jeffrey J. Manley (Parental Block) for the help putting this book together. I also hired Jay to color the front and back covers for me, because he’s great at that stuff. Additional thanks to Lisa Naffziger (Minus) for the blurb on that back (along with Mr. Manley’s) .

This book was a labor of love, because when I started Foxes & Boxes three years ago, I didn’t have a book in mind. This meant the colors weren’t print ready, along with some other laborious tweaks I had to do (like making sure all of my blacks were 100% black, ugh). Thankfully, it was a great learning experience, and going forward I create pages with print in mind.

Does that mean a Volume Two will happen? Yes, eventually. I would like to have another 100 pages (give or take) for Volume Two. The first volume only has 98 of 150 finished pages, so I don’t have too much more to go. I’m planning (hoping) to have second volume ready for summer of 2021.
