Join me this Saturday, February 1st, at the REO Town Marketplace for the 8th annual Art & Craft Beer Fest. This is my second time at this event, and I’m excited to return!

NOTE: A ticket is required for entry to Art & Craft vendor area. Find me at the rear of the REO Town Marketplace. You can access the regular shops without a ticket, however. The other venues in REO Town require tickets as well. This is all a part of the Art & Craft Beer Fest.
Cartooning Demo
Like last year, I’m once again demonstrating cartooning and comic making basics. My demonstration starts at 2PM inside the vendor area (again, you need a ticket) and goes until 3PM. This is an all-ages demo, with paper and markers provided. Come on out and draw some silly stuff!
The New Originals
I spent four hours at the studio on Sunday cranking out some new cartoons to sell at the Art & Craft Beer Fest. Some art watercolor, but a few make use of my new Uni Posca Paint Pens. For example, these are the pens I used on my Love Lansing Mitten Project piece.
The inspiration for the new watercolor pieces came from the Art & Craft Beer Fest itself.

Moreover, my February is just getting started. After this Saturday, I have a pair of events coming up, and quickly. Next Saturday brings the Mitten Project silent auction. This is where you can bid on my Mitten Project piece. Secondly, all proceeds go to funding art in Lansing schools.
In addition to these events, I’m also appearing at the Michigan State University Comics Forum on February 22nd. Come see me in the Main Library on campus! Most importantly, there is no cost to attend this event.
