July is a bonkers month for me. I have four events this month. Oof. But, after this stretch, things thin out considerably (I have two in August, and one each in September, October, and November). The circus kicks off this weekend with the West Shore Art Fair in lovely Ludington, Michigan.
When is the West Shore Art Fair?
The fun begins this Saturday, July 6th and continues on Sunday, July 7th. This year marks the 51st annual West Shore Art Fair. I like being a part of art festivals with a long history.
The hours on Saturday are 10 AM to 5 PM and 10 AM to 4 PM on Sunday. C’mon out!
Where is the West Shore Art Fair?
All of the artsy good times can be found inside Rotary Park in Ludington, Michigan. Yep, it’s outside and “open air” as they say. You can’t miss it, just head for the park (and the crowds). I’m one of over 100 jury selected fine artists appearing this year. This is the furthest I’ve traveled for an art fair, and I’m excited to showcase my work in front of a new audience (I’ve traveled farther for comic shows though).
What Am I Selling This Weekend?
I can’t sell prints or books, so I’ll only have original art for sale this weekend, both matted and framed.
I’m selling:
- 2018 100 Day Project originals (only a few left!)
- 2019 100 Day Project originals (featuring a fresh batch of new ones)
- 2018 Monster Portraits
- 2019 Found Cartoons (from my first solo show)
- 2019 Sassy Food cartoons
I will have plenty of stuff for everyone to check out this weekend in Ludington. My 2019 100 Day Project wraps up very soon, so come and get first dibs on the newest cartoons.
If you can’t make it to Ludington this weekend, I’ll be at Cravings Popcorn next Friday (July 12th) for Arts Night Out, 5PM – 8PM. I’ll be selling prints and books there as well (but probably won’t have any big framed stuff).
