Valentine’s Day is this Friday (I bet a few of you just did a spit-take). If you need a card for your significant other, consider grabbing one of mine. Head on down to the Lansing Art Gallery for one of my cartoon greeting cards. I wrote a blog post about this back in November.
As you can see, several of my designs are available. There are only so many copies of each card, so dash down there and grab a few. You will find my cartoon greeting cards sprinkled in with the other cards for sale, but don’t worry, mine stand out.
Where is the Lansing Art Gallery?
Find the Lansing Art Gallery right in downtown Lansing on Washington Square (119 N. Washington Sq. Suite 101
Lansing, MI 48933). It is in between the YMCA and Kositchek”s. You can’t miss it!
All of my greeting cards are blank on the inside, so write whatever you want. While you visit the Lansing Art Gallery, make sure to take in the exhibits. The current exhibit is Sorry, I’m Not Leaving by Britta Urness. Check it out! Stephanie and I went to the opening reception and really enjoyed the exhibit.
But Wait There’s More
Aside from the main exhibit, the Lansing Art Gallery sells work by a lot of Michigan artists in their shop. I buy Stephanie a lot of jewelry there, and she hasn’t complained once (whew!). The Lansing Art Gallery is my go-to place for unique gifts in downtown Lansing. I try to shop small and local when I can.
I love seeing my cards for sale in a local Lansing business like the art gallery. It is quite the honor to be along side other Michigan artists and makers. Additionally, make sure to check out some of the cards by fellow artist and friend Sara of Dear Ollie. She makes some hilarious and amazing cards.
