See My Art at the Lansing Art Gallery’s Michigan Made Exhibition

Lansing Art Gallery Michigan Made Exhibition

Tomorrow night is the opening reception for the Michigan Made exhibition at the Lansing Art Gallery. I’m happy to say that Steph and I both have art in this show again (check out last year’s blog post). Better still, this is the first holiday market at the Lansing Art Gallery’s new home inside the historic Knapp’s Building in downtown Lansing.

What is the Michigan Made Exhibition?

This exhibition puts a focus on Michigan made art and other items. There is a strong focus on “gifts for the holidays” with this show. This means there may be items not normally on display in the art gallery, but would make a great gift.

All of the creators of the items for sale live in Michigan. It is one reason I enjoy this show, it is great to see a focus on Michigan creators. The other reason I enjoy this show? It is very popular, and for good reason.

If you are like me and try to keep holiday shopping as local as possible, this exhibition is a great stop.

This year, you can buy copies of my limited edition dragon prints. I’m only making 200 copies of each print, and they are all signed and numbered by me.

The art gallery is located at 300 S Washington Square Suite 100, Lansing, MI 48933. Just look for the big ol’ Knapp’s building on Washington Square. Parking is free starting at 6 PM.

When is the Opening Reception for Michigan Made?

Tomorrow, Thursday, November 10. It starts at 5 PM and goes until 8 PM.

I hope I see you there! I love this event and I tend to get some shopping done myself (or at least get ideas and come back later).

If you are on the look-out for unique gifts this holiday season, I highly recommend visiting the Lansing Art Gallery.
