In the fall of 2022 I won an award at the Ann Arbor art festival, the A2 Artoberfest. The award in question was the Spark Creativity Artist Award, and it was an audience voted award. To be eligible, an artist had to use technology in someway for their art. In my case, I told about how I use an iPad to help with my creative process.
Another fun perk of the weekend was that Steph and I were the featured artists for the show. The Guild asked us to make new original art to be used for fliers and signs to promote A2 Artoberfest. Steph made one of her collage pieces using paint and paper, and had it scanned. Then, I drew digitally on top of her art.
