If you are around Lansing this Saturday, or are up for a road trip, come to our Open Studio Archive Sale! Steph and I are discounting a lot of items, including original art so we can make room for new projects. I even have some framed originals marked down by A LOT. I really want to clear out my older work.
There’s more than just what’s in this photo too. Our studio space features a large variety of art from both of us on sale this Saturday. There’s more walls and displays filled with art on sale. Some items will end up in my shop later, but won’t be discounted (or not discounted nearly as much as this Saturday).
Where: Cedar Street Art Collective (1701 S Cedar St, Lansing, MI 48910)
When: This Saturday, March 16th.
Hours: 12 PM – 4 PM
NOTE: Enter our studio via the red door with white flowers on Cedar Street, at the front of the building. After entering, we’re the first door on the right. Free parking is available at the rear of the building or on the side street.
We hope you can make it this Saturday! We’re both eager to make room for new projects we have in the works. I decided recently to shift my focus back to mainly working on Found Cartoons. I realized I needed to focus better and the last couple of years had me going in too many different directions.
My Found Cartoons also help me stand out a bit at art festivals. While l enjoyed making my dragons and such last year, such artwork is fairly common. My Found Cartoons, as well as my Scraptoons, rely on improvising and working with what’s on the page. I enjoy such a challenge. I want work on larger Found Cartoons as well as making more detailed versions.
