I made a comic book last week. Not just my usual mini-comics, but a standard size (give or take) comic book. It collects all four parts of my Chocolate Quest story on Clattertron–and features a cover I drew just for the book (hooray for new artwork).
SPACE (the Small Press and Alternative Comics Expo) is this weekend in Ohio. I’ll be there with a bunch of other Lansing comic pals. Four comic guys sharing one car and (I think) one hotel room. Should be fun! I am selling my limited run of comic books (all 15 copies) at SPACE, and when they are gone, they are gone. I numbered each copy by hand with my calligraphy pen (1 of 15 and so on).
If I need to do another run in the future, I’ll create a new edition (now that I know what I’m doing, I can get a bit fancier).
Other Good News: I will be appearing at Clems Comics & Games in downtown Lansing on Free Comic Book Day again! FCBD is Saturday, May 3, 2014. Swing by for some goodies and a free sketch from me (I am selling mini-comics too).
I had the honor of being a part of their Free Comic Book Day event last year too.
