Gouache Art, Exciting News, More Places to Shop

by Daniel J. Hogan

Buckle up, I have a bunch of news to share.

Shop Updates: Gouache!

I added some new art to my shop recently, so grab it while you can. This includes some new gouache pieces and even a mixed media piece using cut up paper.

For those who don’t know, gouache is sort of in between watercolor and acrylic paint. It has features of both. I’m enjoying creating with it a lot, especially because it lets me add layers.

I found out last month that all four pieces I submitted to the Lansing Art Gallery Michigan Made Holiday Art Exhibition show were accepted. Woo hoo! The Lansing Art Gallery is taking safety during these strange times very seriously, and you can even schedule a shopping appointment.

If you can, please stop by the Lansing Art Gallery for your holiday shopping. I always find great items there for gifts. Both the gallery and artists, like myself, especially appreciate the support right now.

Buy My Art at Seams Fabric in East Lansing!

Here’s another way to buy my art: head over to Seams in East Lansing! I have several pieces of art on consignment there, including some watercolor ornaments. Along with the ornaments are a few of my 2020 100 Day Project watercolor cartoons. Just head all the way to the back classroom area and look for my stuff.

Thanks again to Jessy at Seams for this great opportunity!

Thanks for Your Support!

Everything is still so crazy, but I’m thankful for all of the support I continue to get. All of it helps, be it someone buying art or just sharing something I posted to Instagram.
