Here is some great news, friends! No, they aren’t bringing back Freakazoid (if only). Rather, my art is on display and for sale at Blue Owl Coffee in East Lansing this month!
Opportunity Knocks
Artist friend Svitlana Martynjuk recently took over handling the Blue Owl art walls. When she asked if I wanted to display my art, I of course said yes. As it turns out, not only will I have art at the East Lansing branch, but two other stores as well. The plan is to rotate through all three Blue Owl Coffee Locations in East Lansing, REO Town, and Old Town. Along for the ride are two other artists, and we each spend a month at different store. That means I will have art on display for February (East Lansing), March (REO Town), and April (Old Town). My schedule could be subject to change, but currently that is the plan.
Monsters and Coffee
For my art wall at Blue Owl Coffee, I decided to display several of my framed Monster Portraits cartoons. There are six pieces total on display. Each piece is framed and varies in size.

I am considering making a few more new Monster Portraits pieces for when I shift to the REO Town location next month. Secondly, I’m planning on having a reception there, if the space is available.
