My art festival season is winding down, but this Saturday brings another event: ArtFeast! This one day art festival and food truck rally is in Lansing’s Old Town, this Saturday, August 19th.
The fun starts at 10 AM and goes until 5 PM, so it is also a bit of a short day.
Where to Find Me at ArtFeast
You can find me right on Turner street with the other artists, and it appears Steph and I will be just past Cravings Popcorn, near the middle of everything, across the street from Meat. Just look for my big white tent full of my colorful, whimsical art.
What Will I Have at ArtFeast?
The thing I love about this art festival is, I can bring basically anything I’ve made to sell. Some art festivals have rules about what I can and can’t sell, mainly when it comes to stuff like prints/stickers/different kinds of art. ArtFeast doesn’t have any such restrictions, as long as it is something I made. This means I may bring some older works or random things I can’t bring elsewhere.
Other art festivals require you to apply in certain categories, like drawing, painting, mixed media. For those shows, I could only sell art that fit the “drawing” category and couldn’t sell other works (like for example, pottery). This Saturday I can bring art I may not bring to other events, such as some that are painting than drawing or more mixed media.
So, expect a little bit of everything.
I hope to see you on Saturday! If not, come on out to Festival of Oddities in a few weeks!
