This Friday evening brings another Arts Night Out in Lansing’s Old Town. You can come see me at the Old Town General Store, where I am selling my art.
The fun starts at 5pm and goes until 8pm. There’s no cost to attend, and there are several other artists at different locations in Old Town to check out too. Make an evening of it!
What is the Old Town General Store?
If you’re looking for a callback to the “small town mom and pop shops” of yesteryear, then check out the Old Town General Store. There’s a bit of everything, and there’s a focus on Michigan made goods, including food, wine, and beer. There’s also Michigan made gifts and other fun stuff.
Where is the Old Town General Store?
The Old Town General Store can be found at 408 E Cesar E. Chavez Ave. (formerly E. Grand River Ave.), Lansing, Michigan 48906. It’s on the same side of the road as Preuss Pets and not far from there either.
What Am I Selling at Arts Night Out?
For starters, I will have my new Inktober watercolor cartoon series, 31 Cats, for sale (also available in my eBay and Etsy shops). I will also have my remaining 100 Day Project originals, a few of my smaller Monster Portraits, prints, and other small items.
This is the final Arts Night Out of 2018, and it will be one of my last events for the year too. I’m appearing at the REO Town Marketplace’s November pop-up on the 17th, and that might be it for 2018. We’ll see! Stuff happens, and I could get the chance to sell at someplace in December.
Don’t worry, my schedule for 2019 is already starting to come together. Sadly, I didn’t get into the Michigan State University Comics Forum this year, but I’m planning on returning to Cherry Capital Comic Con in May, and I just applied to the East Lansing Art Festival (I got in as an emerging artist last year).
