I enjoyed having a weekending off for the first time since June. Time to get back into action though, and this Saturday I will be at ArtFeast in Lansing’s Old Town. Now, after this Saturday, I have more of a break between events. My next event is Capital City Comic Con, on Saturday September 21st, more than a month away! I can’t wait! ::crying emoji::
Sorry. It has been a long summer of festivals. I am very much looking forward to my month-long gap between events. Not that I won’t be working during that stretch. I will for sure be hitting my studio space every weekend. Gotta keep making stuff!
I’m not totally done with events after September either. I actually have (at the moment) events in October and November too. It’s nothing compared to the insanity of my May-June-July stretch this Summer though.
The Name Game
Why is ArtFeast called…ArtFeast? Because the event not only features a bunch of artists, but also a bunch of food trucks. GET IT? So come hungry for art and food this Saturday.
Where and When is ArtFeast?
You can’t miss ArtFeast. Just head for Lansing’s Old Town (north of downtown Lansing) on Saturday August 17th and you will find all of the action. Specifically, all of the art and such is on Turner Street. Again, you can’t miss it. Just follow the crowds. There is not cost to attend, as the event is all outside.
What Am I Selling This Weekend?
I will have some new original art that I’ve been working on since my last show, which includes new Found Cartoons and more. Because this show is kind of a free-for-all when it comes to what I can sell, I will have A LOT of stuff to choose from. I will have original art, the Foxes & Boxes book, and prints! It isn’t often I can sell everything at the same show, so this is a good opportunity to check out a wide range of my art and comics.
