As promised in yesterday’s post, here is a video of me painting Saturday’s Inktober cartoon. I decided to break the videos up in two to make them shorter. Like the first video, this one was live streamed on my personal Facebook page. I don’t know if I will continue live streaming video there or just go back to the Clattertron Facebook Page.

Watercolor Painting
I use watercolor paint on my Inktober mashup cartoons. I enjoy working with watercolor, especially since I got my Sakura 12 color Watercolor Field Sketch Set. It’s the small kit I use in the video. I’m able to easily carry it with me pretty much anywhere, and I love the colors.
In the past I always used regular watercolor brushes, but these days I’m sticking to Pentel Aquash Water Brush Pens. As I explain in the video, I fill them with water and can take them with me for painting on the go. I also have one filled with an ink wash.
Inktober Continues
Even though I’m not shooting a video everyday, I’m still drawing and painting everyday for Inktober. You can see all of my Inktober drawings on Patreon, Instagram, and Facebook. Go check them all out! I’m really enjoying these, and it feels good cranking out a cartoon each day.
By the way, I decided to start calling my Random Cartoons by the name Mashup Cartoons now. I’ll need to change my word board before my next show. I felt this was a good move, as the mean of “Random” might not always be clear to people like “Mashup” should (I hope at least). It’s still the same thing: people roll dice and I draw a mashup based on the result. It’s the same thing I’m doing for Inktober!
