Inktober has come and gone like a Las Vegas celebrity marriage, and I decided to shoot a video showing off all of my drawings. It seemed like a better idea than a video showing off all of my cat themed Magic: The Gathering decks.
I actually shot two videos, one on Facebook Live and the other on Instagram Live. The video posted here is the one from my Instagram, because I felt it looked better and had a better flow, like a hockey mullet of old.

If the embed doesn’t work, watch the video on YouTube instead. Mobile users, this new YouTube embed should fit your screen (unlike the previous Facebook embeds, which I’m in the process of replacing).
Inktober Recap
I really enjoyed Inktober this year. More importantly, I finished and didn’t become a burned out husk of a cartoonist in the process. There is always next year!
What’s next? I will get the drawings added to my Etsy shop soon (I have to dust my shop off and get it running again) and they will be for sale.
My appearances for this year are done (unless jury duty counts), but any remaining Inktober drawings will be sold at comic shows next spring and summer. I want to scan all of the drawings and maybe do a digital collection on Gumroad (and include rough sketches of the drawings).
There’s a chance I might use some of the drawings as a basis for a new print too. I have a couple of funny drawings I wouldn’t mind using for a print or a new shirt.
YouTube Channel
I’ll write a post about this soon, but watch out: I set up my own YouTube channel Sunday evening. My YouTube channel is in the early stages, but it’s a start. I’m sure I’ll be the next YouTube heart-throb in no time, give or take 50 years.
What I do like is, I can do some minor edits to the videos on YouTube. This means I can at cut off the start of the videos where nothing happens.
My plan is to go back through my old blog posts and replace the Facebook embedded video with YouTube embeds. The YouTube embeds play nicer with mobile devices and this site’s responsive design.
