Photos – Shooting Kat Cooper

For some reason, my Ginger and the Geek co-host, Kat Cooper, asked me to take photos of her for a blog post.  This put my rusty pipe and random trash photography abilities to the test.

But, I agreed, as I needed the practice shooting with a live model.

Short Skirt and a Long Jacket.

One Problem: it was colder than a coal miner’s chicken.  Seriously. I could barely feel my fingers while setting up my shots.  This led to the shoot being very abbreviated, because no matter how cold I was, Kat was even colder.

I mean, LOOK at this outfit–darling, yes, but insulated? Hardly.

You can't tell, but it was only 10 degrees out for this shot.

I had hoped to spend time taking some well-composed, creative shots, but the weather would not allow for such a thing.

Cold or not, I made the most of the situation and I’m pretty happy with how these turned out, and there will be other chances to snap photos of Kat.
