Photos – Eating San Francisco 4

"Pizza?" "Shhh!" "Pepporoni?" "SHHHHH!

If you cover meat with enough veggies, it counts as part of your veggie diet. Trust me.

Eating San Francisco Week concludes today.  What a tasty week it has been.  This shot is of pizza from a great place near where I stayed in the Mission District, Pizzeria Delfina.

Details and more photos after the break.

The pizza above was their Prosciutto Pie (Prosciutto di Parma, cacioccavallo, mozzarella, panna, arugula).  MAN, it was great. I loved the fresh arugula–that reminds me, I need to buy some greens for home :/

"More amazing than the time you ate your weight in Godfather's pizza, right?"

No boring toppings allowed!

This was Delfina’s Napoletana pizza (Tomato, anchovies, capers, hot peppers, olives and oregano).   Yes, anchovies.  The girlfriend loves anchovies–and honestly, this was one of the best anchovy pizzas I’ve had.

Go fish! ...Seriously, go. I got a fever, and the only cure is more fish. If I don't get some fried fish and hush puppies up in here soon, I'mma go crazy.

I left my scarf at this restaurant. Thankfully, I was able to get it back the following day. What a great story!

This is obviously not pizza, and was also obviously taken with my cell phone.  We grabbed dinner at Ebb & Flow in the Mission District before venturing off to see Point Break LIVE! (which was one of my favorite parts of the trip).  I don’t remember what this was exactly, but it was some manner of tuna dish–and it was very good.

That’s it for this week–see you on Monday.
