Oh yes I did.
Am I crazy? Perhaps, but that is besides the point. This is, for lack of a better term, something I just need to do. Just think, last April I ran in my first ever 5k. Now, not even a year later, I’m giving a triathlon a go.
I am not worried about the running (which is only 5k in this beginner friendly event). Nor am I worried about the biking (although my bike could use some TLC before June).
What does concern, nay, scare, me a bit is the swimming portion. All 400 meters of it. I am not what you call a good swimmer. I can doggie paddle with the best of them, but that’s about it.
Which brings me to the reason I signed up for this thing–time to level up.
