Steph and I have an open studio day this Saturday, October 5 2024. It is also our “end of the season” sale, so we’ll have various art marked down.
I plan on displaying my new Found Cartoon pieces I made for my solo show at the Nelson Art Gallery back in July as well (all available for sale).
It’s not just us having an open studio, there are other events going on at the Cedar Street Art Collective too:
– Free “Make and Take” Pumpkin Painting activity with Paint Your Poison. (While supplies last)
– Free “Make and Take” Metal Keychain activity with CSAC Artist, Vic Reynaud, (While supplies last)
– Mini Aura readings with Dawn Baumer ($25)
– Tour our available art studio spaces and historic building.
– Meet our artists.
Where is Cedar Street Art Collective?
1701 S. Cedar St., Lansing, MI, United States, Michigan 48910 (map).
Either park on the street, or in the rear parking lot. To find us, the fastest way is to use the front red door with white flowers on Cedar St. Go inside, and we’re the first door on the right.
You should be able to enter the building via the door nearest to the parking lot, but you have to walk through a few spaces to find us.
As I said above, the easiest way is to use the front door on Cedar st.
Oct. 5 Open Studio Hours
12 PM to 4 PM, and there isn’t a cost to attend. Come on by!
Your Support is Greatly Appreciated
On a more personal note, I would greatly appreciate any and all art sales this Saturday. I had my art van in the shop this week, and well I’m looking at over three thousand dollars in repairs.
If you would like another way to support me, you can join my Patreon for as little as $3 a month–I know I spend more on a matcha latte. I’ve been posting daily journal drawings there, which are free to read, but I also post some art/comics for paid members only.
My journal drawings go public on Patreon first, and then get posted to social media the next day. Patrons, even free members, get to see them first–so go ahead and join, even as a free member.
However, please don’t use the iPhone/iPad app to join Patreon. Just use the regular website–Apple takes A LOT of anything you pledge to me if you use their app.
