I know I have not updated in a bit, but good news! My Free Comic Book Day plans are finalized now. I’m splitting the day between two different comic shops in Lansing on Saturday, May 2nd:
8:00 AM to 10:30 AM: Clem’s Comics & Games (216 S. Washington Sq., Suite B, Lansing, MI, 48933)
12:00 PM to 4:00 PM: Red Fox Comics (723 Brookside Dr., Lansing, MI, 48917)
Bonus Appearance! I’m a guest at the Capital City Comic Con the same weekend, but Sunday May 3rd only.
The other news is, I’m nearly finished preparing my coloring book to sell at shows. This is my first stab at a coloring book, and I’m super happy with how the pages turned out. I drew 12 unique pictures for the coloring book, and plan to have it for sale starting on Free Comic Book Day.

The coloring books are made up of 11″x17″ pages, folded in half–so 11″x8.5″ I guess, and ‘zine style.’ I bought a long reach stapler and everything. This is the largest book I’ve made to sell at shows to date (the others being comic book size and my mini-comics). Everything is going as planned so far, I’m now waiting on a printing estimate for the covers, which will be in color.
I may sell these coloring books via my Etsy shop, but that would be later down the road (depending on what I have left after May).
