A falcon at the Capital City River Run. It was there with a Potter Park Zoo docent.
Links and details behind this shot after the break!
This was another “heat of the moment” shot, but then, I guess most photography is such. Regardless, I wish I had thought to plan this a bit better–it was not until later that I noticed the reflection in the falcon’s eye. You can just barely make out myself. It is a bit soft of a shot, but still neat.

- A photo friend recommended a Lightsphere by Gary Fong via Twitter when I asked what everyone’s favorite gadgets were. Looks neat!
- Another photo friend linked to a very neato camera messager bag by Timbuk2. I like that it doesn’t scream “HEY I’M A CAMERA BAG.”
- If you are a fellow photoblogger, then you may want to check out TinEye–it is a reverse image search engine. Handy!
- I was a guest on Time Slot recently, give it a watch.
