I have a piece in the Mid-Michigan Art Guild’s Fall All Member Show! (Not to be confused with the Autumn All Member Show) The show is at the Okemos branch of the Capital Area District Library. Specifically, my watercolor cartoon is in the Event Room, so you won’t see it hanging on the wall above the stacks, silently judging you as you look for the next book in the Twilight series.
What to See
There’s a great assortment of paintings, drawings, photographs, and more in the Mid-Michigan Art Guild’s latest show. Go and check it out, there’s no cost to see all of our work. My piece, Chompifer (from my 2018 Monster Portraits series) is for sale, as are most of the other pieces.
My wife, Steph Joy Hogan, also has a piece in the show. You can’t miss it: Steph’s piece is the largest painting in the room (and not far from mine).
Holiday Season is (Gulp) Here
The Mid-Michigan Art Guild Fall All Member Show runs through December 31st, so you have a lot of time. However, I know I’ll blink and it will be Christmas morning already. Ugh. I plan on writing up another “Last Minute Gift Guide” like last year. And hey, if you are feeling generous this holiday, here’s my Amazon Wish List.
If you are looking for gift ideas this holiday season, make sure to check out my Esty and eBay stores for some original art. There’s free shipping in the USA at either store (and they have the same items, mostly). If you are out of the USA, use my eBay store, just note that shipping will not be free.
Better still: anything you buy via my eBay store leads to a donation to the Greater Lansing Food Bank! (It’s 10% of every sale) Speaking of donations, between matching my online sale donations and donation a portion of my sales from Arts Night Out last Friday, I was able to give $40 to the Greater Lansing Food Bank this month.
I know that may not sound like a lot of money, but every dollar is important to the Greater Lansing Food Bank. I’m really happy I was able to help.
