This Saturday and Sunday marks my return to the Flint Art Fair. I last appeared at this event in 2019, so it has been awhile. I’m looking forward to trying this show again, especially since I have all different art this time around.
Where is the Flint Art Fair?
Via the website, the Flint Art Fair is “Located on the front lawn of the Flint Institute of
Arts in the heart of the beautiful Flint Cultural Center. 1120 E. Kearsley St. Flint, MI 48503“
When is the Flint Art Fair?
The dates for the art fair this year are Saturday, June 11, 2022: 10:00 am – 6:00 pm
Sunday, June 12, 2022: 11:00 am – 5:00 pm
Note: There is a $5 entry fee. Children 12 and under are free however.
New Art!
Speaking of new art, I’m debuting my first ever fine art reproductions this weekend to the Flint Art Fair. I made two new watercolor and ink cartoons and had them scanned. The reproductions are on archival quality paper, with archival inks.
Here are pictures of the original art, which will also be for sale this weekend.
Both pieces are 11×14 and the same goes for the reproductions. My reproductions are limited to only 200 copies of each. I spent last Friday night signing and numbering the first batch of reproductions (I could only afford 25 of each this time).
I’m looking forward to offering fine art reproductions for the first time (or “prints” if you prefer, but art fairs prefer the the term reproduction). I’ve done digital art prints in the past, but never scans of original art (unless you go really far back to my comic con days with scans of early comic strips).
