I have one more comic show in the clip for 2019, and that’s this Saturday’s Capital City Comic Con in East Lansing, Michigan. Of course, there’s always the chance I could add some kind of comic event before the end of the year, but I don’t see anything on the horizon at the moment.
When and Where is Capital City Comic Con 2019?
Capital City Comic Con is this Saturday, September 21st, 10 AM – 6 PM.
All of the fun takes place inside the Breslin Center on MSU’s campus, specifically on the concourse. Just keep walking in a circle and you’ll see everything, which is pretty neat, and very different from other comic shows.
Tickets for Capital City Comic Con 2019
Tickets are $12 in advance and $15 at the door. Grab a ticket for the show via the Capital City Comic Con website. Kids 7 and under are free with an adult.
What Am I Selling This Weekend?
I’m hoping to move a bunch of copies of the Foxes & Boxes book this weekend. I’ll also have prints and be doing my on the spot Mashup Cartoons. I’m hoping to whip up some new original watercolor cartoons that are more comic con friendly, while avoiding fan art (dragons, robots, etc.). That’s if I have time, though. I got hit with a cold last weekend and it threw off my plans for the whole week.
But Wait There’s More
If you just can’t get enough of me, I have another event on Sunday. I’ll be at the Mid-Michgan Art Guild’s opening reception for the All Creatures Great and Small exhibition. Doors open at 2:00 PM and the event goes until 4:00 PM. There will be snacks!
The show takes place at Wheaton’s Gallery in Mason, Michigan and runs until October 29th.
And that ain’t all! Here’s some more of my upcoming events for the reminder of 2019.
