This weekend brings my return to Birmingham, Michigan. I started out the art festival season there back in May (Mother’s Day weekend to be precise). Now, as the season winds down, I’m coming back for the Birmingham Street Art Fair–and it is at the same place I was before.
Where is the Birmingham Street Art Fair?
Like last time, I’m back in Shain Park in downtown Birmingham. I’m in booth 122, which is near the statue in the park. To be even more specific, Steph and I are in the section of the park on Merrill St, between Bates and Henrietta.
When is the Birmingham Street Art Fair?
Saturday, September 17, 10 AM – 6 PM
Sunday, September 18, 10 AM – 5 PM
The fun twist this time around is I’m going back to the same spot for the second time in the same festival season. This time, I’ll have some new and different art with me, including prints. I didn’t have any fine art prints last time, so I am curious to see how those do for this event. I also didn’t have my ScrapToons back in May either, in fact I don’t think I even had the idea of them yet.
Since the art festival season is winding down, I plan to start adding any left over art to my online shop soon. It will likely be in small batches, because adding items is actually a lot of work. It is also a lot of work to keep the inventory on the site up to date with what I sell in person at art festivals. To keep things simple, I decided to just not update the shop right away. Don’t worry though. The shop update is coming.
I hope you can make it out this weekend to Birmingham!
