Come see me in Lansing’s Old Town this Friday night for Arts Night Out! This time, I’m the featured artist at Bad Annie’s Old Town Sweary Goods!
NOTE: As the name of the venue suggests, Bad Annie’s sells a lot of items featuring “swears” and adult language/themes. If you show up with little ones, be prepared to answer “What does that apron say?”
The fun kicks off at 5PM and goes until 8PM. As the featured artist, I’ll be set-up with a table selling my art. This includes:
- Original watercolor cartoons, including this year’s Inktober series 31 Cats.
- Cartoon prints, such as my Sassy Food series.
- And the Foxes & Boxes book!
If I have time, I might try to whip up some other new originals, but we’ll see what happens as Inktober is winding down, and that takes priority.
Bad Annie’s Old Town Sweary Goods is located at 1209 Turner Street Lansing, Michigan 48906.
Don’t forget to check out the other featured artists in Old Town for Arts Night Out. More info is available at myartsnightout.com.
Remaining 2019 Events
- Friday November 8 – Impression 5 Holiday STEM Market
- Friday November 8 – Michigan Made – Holiday Art Exhibition – Lansing Art Gallery
- Thursday November 21 – Friday November 22 – Royal Oak Market: Art Fair Edition
- Saturday December 7 – REO Town Annual Holiday Pop Up
No, you aren’t seeing double–I’m kinda double-booked on Friday, November 8. I had planned on attending the Michigan Made event at the Lansing Art Gallery, where some of my cartoon greeting cards will be for sale. However, Steph asked me to help her out at the Impression 5 STEM Market that same night (she also has stuff for sale at the Lansing Art Gallery). We’ll both have items for sale at the Impression 5 STEM Market though.
If I can, I will try to make a quick appearance at the Lansing Art Gallery that evening. Fingers crossed!
Later in November you can see me at the Royal Oak Farmers Market. This is my last “art fair” event of 2019. Whew. Then I get a few months until I start all over again. I will be taking things a bit easier in 2020 though. This season gave me A LOT to think about when it comes what events I attend (and doing “comic cons” versus “art fairs”).
