Yes, this weekend is my second weekend in a row with an art festival. Last weekend I was in Flint. This weekend, I’m in Northville. You can find me at Art in the Sun this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Where is Art in the Sun?
“The 2022 Arts and Acts Festival will be held on N Wing Street (between W. Main and Dunlap) and W. Main (Between N. Wing and Center)” [website]. Basically: come to downtown Northville and look for all of the white tents. I’m in tent 16 (and Steph is next to me).
When is Art in the Sun?
Friday, June 17, 2022: 3:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Saturday, June 18, 2022: 10:00 am – 8:00 pm
Sunday, June 19, 2022: 10:00 am – 3:00 pm
Art in the Sun is a new show for me, as I have never appeared there before. It will be a long weekend, but I know it will be a success. I’m always excited to appear at new art festivals, especially those that are within an hour (or less) of Lansing. Being able to go home at night and sleep in my own bed, and see the cats, is always nice after a long festival day.
As I said in last week’s blog post, I’ll have new limited edition prints for sale. Grab one of my new signed and numbered prints while you still can. These prints fit an 11×14 frame and look fantastic. They are scans of my original watercolor an ink art, and printed on archival paper.
But, my crazy June isn’t over yet. On June 25th is the Capital City Creatives Crawl. Thankfully, Steph and I will just be at our studio inside Cedar Street Art Collective. Think of it like an open studio day, but there will be other artists around Cedar Street Art Collective (and around Lansing).
