Here’s some great news! No, they aren’t rebooting Small Wonder (even though the world needs it now more than ever). I landed a spot at tomorrow’s REO Town Marketplace Winter Artisan Pop Up at the REO Town Marketplace!
Woo hoo! This will be my first time at the REO Town Marketplace, and my first “pop up” event ever. I’m excited to see what the crowd is like and how it compares to a comic con crowd.
What Is the REO Town Marketplace Winter Artisan Pop Up?
A “pop up” event is where artists sell their items (paintings, handmade stationary, leather mugs, vegan taxidermy, whatever). The “pop up” part mains the artists set-up shop temporarily for the day. This could mean a booth, tent, or in my case, a table.
There will be a bunch of local artists selling their wares on Saturday, so come check it all out. It looks like there will probably be a little bit of everything.
When and Where is the REO Town Marketplace Winter Artisan Pop Up?
The event is tomorrow, Saturday January 27, inside the REO Town Marketplace, located at 1027 S. Washington Ave, Lansing, Michigan 48910.
What Am I Selling on Saturday?
I will have my usual assortment of prints and original art, as well as my buttons and stickers. I’m sold out of coloring books, so I won’t have any books for sale. Even though I still have Foxes & Boxes mini-comics, I will probably put more of a focus on my original watercolor cartoons and prints.
A selection of my 100 Positive Things and Inktober 2017 cartoons will be available as well. I can’t bring all of them, so I will pick a few favorites and have those for sale.
For those wanting a unique item, my mashup cartoons will be available as well. I draw the combination of two words based on the roll of two dice. It’s fun!
