I didn’t pose Erik for the shot above, I just snapped away. I cross processed the colors in Photoshop for the heck of it, as it was an overcast day and most of the colors were kind of blah.
For those wondering, yes, these are the steps as seen in the film Escape From Alcatraz. Clint Eastwood sat on those steps. Whoa. (OK, so the whole dang movie was shot in the prison, so technically everything in my photos was probably on screen at some point).

I had some fun with the color levels on this one. I love all the junk growing on the steps and walls.
There isn't a Brillo Pad strong enough.
A close up of a step–again, I love all the texture and tones. I like how prison folks kind of leave everything alone.
