I had other ideas for more Thanksgiving humor stuff to write, but preferring to enjoy my few days off, I passed on them. I’m pretty happy with the Signs You Might Have an Awkward Thanksgiving piece though, even if it is just a list of jokes.
I did some more tweaking to clattertron.com this past week–I installed the Yoast WordPress SEO plugin. I gotta say, it is super helpful. I pick up SEO tips and tricks as I go, but this plugin taught me more in a few minutes than I have picked up in the past few years. The trick is though, not to over-rely on the plugin, and edit your posts to be SEO optimized to the point where the ‘feeling’ or ‘heart’ is gone. I will say this though, I am already seeing results.
