One of the perks of setting up a YouTube channel is I can edit my videos. It also means I can add “YouTube star” to my list of delusions of grandeur.
While playing around with YouTube’s editing options, I sped up a video of me painting a watercolor cartoon for Inktober. Next, I should try speeding up videos of me drawing, inking, or alphabetizing my socks.
Watch my new video below!
Here is the sped up video, increased to 6x speed.
To compare, here is the original video. Speeding up the video meant I had to dump the original audio, because I sounded like a Chipmunk after 10 cups of espresso. Thankfully, YouTube has free music to use, so I used the track Gameboy by Coyote Hearing.
I’m looking forward to speeding up more art videos soon. It was a very simple process, and I like the look of the final video. I’m in the process of replacing the Facebook embedded videos with the YouTube versions. The YouTube embeds actually fit the mobile version of the site, unlike Facebook’s. (I wouldn’t be surprised if embeds not fitting is on purpose, because Facebook wants people to watch stuff on their site/app).
Obligatory subscribe to my YouTube channel!
