Remember that thing I said last week about not playing around with ad locations on Clattertron for the rest of the month? Welp, that didn’t last long (I just got tired of where a couple were, and they weren’t really doing anything). I read an article which gave me a couple ideas (mainly, not having all your ads on the same side) and decided to tweak.
On the other side of marketing, I began running a Facebook ad for the Clattertron page. So far, so good I guess. Since Facebook is one of my main referrers, I figured it didn’t hurt to try it for a month. The good thing about advertising through Facebook (as well as Google AdWords and Project Wonderful) is I can set an overall max budget for the month (and per day too). I figure, $20 is worth it for an experiment.
What I really need to work on is selling my own stuff, like shirts and comic collections via Gumroad. Both will probably have to wait until after the wedding, but I’m at the point where I want to start trying.
