Last week on Clattertron was rather light, only one comic and one blog post. Which is fine–I’m not out to kill myself cranking out content, not yet anyway. Some things have come up which shook up my and Steph’s usual routines, but there is nothing wrong with skipping a blog post or two for a week. It is like I tell my blogging students: You have to live too.
At some point, I would not be against two comics a week (Monday and Wednesday), but I’m not going to worry about it for the time being. I certainly have enough ideas for two a week (I still have ideas from nearly a year ago I haven’t used yet), but it is more a matter of having the time.
My latest search for an agent continues. I tell ya, writing a novel is easy compared to a query letter or a synopsis. Thankfully, there are plenty of free resources online to help with the process.
Speaking of novels and such, I was contacted by the literature track for Penguicon about coming back this year. I have been to Penguicon as a panelist every year since 2008, but I was considering skipping this year in hopes to save money (Steph and I have a wedding to pay for, y’know). But, since Penguicon reached out to me, I changed my mind. I might just commute in for the day and not get a hotel room.
My new blog, with a humor focus, is on clattertron.com. The blog on danieljhogan.com is used for weekly links, news, general updates, and jokes about orca whales. You can follow me on Twitter, @danieljhogan.
