Scott Kelby Worldwide Photo Walk 2010 Photos 2

Here is another batch of photos I took while being a part of the 2010 Scott Kelby Worldwide Photo Walk at Lansing’s Potter Park Zoo. See part one here.

A Tortoise at Potter Park Zoo in Lansing, MI.

Hooray! A tortoise! EXIF and more photos after the break.

Body: Canon Rebel T2i
Lens: Canon 55-250mm IS f3.5/5.6
Exposure Time    1/500 sec
F-Number    F5.6
ISO Speed Ratings    800
Exposure Bias Value    0 EV
Focal Length    250.0 mm

I’m actually surprised how well this turned out considering I shot it outside at 800 ISO.  I love all the texture, bumps and wrinkles on this thing. It appears to be staring at me as well, hmm.

Bongo! Which is perhaps one of my favorite animal names to say. It is so much fun, say it with me, "Bongo!"One of Potter Park Zoo’s Bongos. I believe this is the female, Bella. She’s pretty. I shot this through a fence, and thanks to my zoom, I avoided the chain links.

Piglets fighting over food! Learn to share, guys! Here are some piglets, and they don’t know the meaning of “sharing” just yet. While snapping photos of these guys, I saw something rather gross: another piglet was drinking from a puddle of water it was standing in, while urinating into the puddle at the same time. Yuck.

More tomorrow!
