This Saturday, I will be at the Cedar Street Art Collective Holiday Art Market. This is one of the Small Business Saturday events going on around town (with this Friday being Black Friday y’know).
What is the Cedar Street Art Collective?
From their Facebook page:
“The CSAC houses two galleries and creative retail space. We seek to promote local artists and build a venue where artists can show and sell their work.”
There’s also studio space available for rent in the building, making it a great artist spot in downtown Lansing. If you’ve never been inside the Cedar Street Art Collective, I recommend stopping by for a tour alone. It’s a regular TARDIS of a building, and seems to keep going in every direction.
Where is the Cedar Street Art Collective?
Surprise, the Cedar Street Art Collective is on Cedar Street! 1701 S. Cedar Street. Lansing, Michigan to be exact. It’s north of Mount Hope, between Isbell and Norman (the streets, not the people).
The fun starts at 11 AM and goes until 5 PM, and there will be plenty of other artists selling their stuff too. There’s even Caricatures by Tod Parkhill from 12 PM to 5 PM.
What Am I Selling?
Space is kinda limited, so I’ll only have a single table set-up on Saturday (which is fine, less stuff to bring). But, I’ll have my 2018 Inktober and 100 Day Project watercolor cartoons, along with my usual prints, stickers, and buttons. I will bring a few of my smaller framed Monster Portraits, and maybe one or two of the larger pieces.
Shop Online Too!
Don’t forget, you can buy most of my original art online, in my Etsy and eBay shops. FYI, my shops will be “on vacation” whenever I have an event, so grab something you like now while you can.
BONUS: in my Etsy and eBay shops, if you buy three or more items, you get 20% off! This sale won’t last forever, so take advantage while you can. There’s free USA shipping too.
I’m Not Done Yet
I probably said back in September I was done with events, well that ended up not being true. After this Saturday’s event, I still have (at least) one more on the horizon. On Monday, December 3rd, you can see me at a pop-up even held inside Lansing Brewing Company. This event starts at 6 PM and goes until 9 PM. There isn’t a Facebook event page for it yet, but I will have more info closer to December 3rd.
I don’t see me getting another event in December, so that should be my final outing for 2018. Then, a nice break until…uh…February. More info on that special event later. I’m already working on my schedule for 2019, specifically events in April and onward. I’ve applied to art festivals in May, June, and July. I’m planning on attending Cherry Capital Comic Con again as well.
I’m already tired just thinking about next Summer, ha!
